Key debate: One year after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
In a debate at 9.00 with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU diplomacy chief Josep Borrell, MEPs will take stock of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine one year after the invasion, and will discuss how the EU can continue its support for Kyiv. The debate will be wrapped-up with a resolution on Thursday.

A new EU industrial strategy
Starting around 10.30, plenary will host Commissioner Mairead McGuinness and Swedish EU Minister Jessika Roswall to debate upcoming proposals for an industrial plan for the net-zero age. In the afternoon, from around 16.00, MEPs will discuss measures to secure the supply of critical raw materials. They will vote on a resolution on the strategy to boost industrial competitiveness, trade and quality jobs on Thursday.

Progress towards completing the asylum and migration road map
In the afternoon, around 14.00, MEPs will debate with the Commission and the Swedish Presidency the outcome of last week’s European Council. The Council focused on asylum and migration policy, and the progress towards completing reform of the EU asylum system by May 2024, as agreed in September 2022.
