“This is Europe” debate with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz

From 10.30 to 12.00, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will discuss with MEPs his views on Europe’s challenges and future. Before the start of the debate, President Metsola will make a statement to mark Europe Day. President Metsola and Chancellor Scholz will hold a bilateral meeting at 10.05, followed by a press point at 10.20.

Stopping greenwashing and increasing the durability of products

In an evening debate with Commissioner Didier Reynders, starting at around 20.30, MEPs will discuss their position on a new directive to improve product labelling, ban planned obsolescence so products will last longer and end misleading claims. The vote will take place on Thursday.
