MEPs debate the Nature Restoration law

At 9.00, plenary will debate the Nature Restoration law with Environment Commissioner Sinkevičius. Following the lack of a majority in the Environment Committee for the Commission’s proposal as amended for a Nature Restoration Law, the full House will then vote on Wednesday on whether to reject the Commission’s proposal or amend it.

Debate and final vote on the EU Chips Act

Following the conclusion of negotiations in April, MEPs will debate the EU Chips Act from around 10.30 with Internal Market Commissioner Breton. The Act aims to secure the supply of chips by boosting production and innovation, and introduces a crisis response mechanism in case of shortages, thereby strengthening the EU’s strategic autonomy and security. The final vote on the legislation will take place at noon today.
