NATO summit

In a debate with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, starting at 09:00, MEPs will outline their expectations for the upcoming NATO summit in The Hague, Netherlands, on 24-26 June 2025. NATO country leaders are expected to discuss how to ramp up defence spending, in the context of Russia’s continued war of aggression against Ukraine and calls from US President Donald Trump for European countries to invest more and take greater responsibility for their defence.
