Supporting Ukraine
First on the agenda is a debate with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, starting at 09.00, on how the EU can ensure security guarantees for Ukraine, in the light of Russia’s continued bombardment of Ukraine. MEPs will also be discussing a report prepared by Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee on Ukraine’s path towards EU membership. A vote on this draft resolution will take place at 12.30.

Gaza at breaking point
From around 10.30, attention will shift to events in Gaza, with another statement by High Representative Kaja Kallas. The debate will centre on EU action to combat famine, and the urgent need to release the hostages and move towards a two-state solution. Parliament will vote on a resolution on Thursday.
