Chemicals simplification package
Enhancing the simplicity and transparency of EU chemicals law will be the subject of an evening debate with Commissioner Maria Luís Albuquerque on updated rules already agreed informally with Council. The package of three proposals should streamline chemical safety assessments, not least by setting up ‘one-stop shop’ access to data. The final votes will take place on Tuesday at noon.
