Seeking to boost competitiveness and cut red tape, Parliament is finalising its negotiating position on simplified sustainability reporting and reduced due diligence rules for companies. MEPs want to reduce the pool of companies falling within the scope of the rules, ease sustainability reporting requirements and reduce due diligence duties.
