During the meeting, EU leaders are expected to discuss continued support for Ukraine, developments in the Middle East, including the war in Iran and its wider implications, the next 2028 – 2034 long-term EU budget (MFF), European competitiveness and global economic challenges, defence readiness and security, migration, and illicit drugs and organised crime. Leaders are also expected to review progress on the “One Europe, One Market” agenda aimed at strengthening the Union’s competitiveness and economic resilience.
