Debate and vote on foreign interference and attacks on EU democracies

From 9.00, MEPs will debate with Commission Vice-President Věra Jourová how to counter foreign interference, information manipulation and attacks on democracy, particularly from Russia and China. The vote will take place at 11.00. At 8.30, the Special Committee on foreign interference and the strengthening of integrity, transparency and accountability in the EP (ING2) will adopt its recommendations on the reform of Parliament’s rules. A press conference with lead MEPs for both reports is scheduled at 12.30.

More ammunition for Ukraine

In a vote at 11.00, MEPs are set to back a draft law to urgently deliver ammunition and missiles to Ukraine and to help member states refill their stocks. Once Parliament has voted on its position, negotiations with Council can start with the aim of adopting the act in the July 2023 plenary.
