Migration and asylum: MEPs to call for swift adoption of new legislation
Starting at 9.00, plenary will assess with Commission Vice-President Schinas and Spanish deputy Minister for EU Affairs Navarro progress on the reform of the common EU asylum and migration systems. MEPs will debate the specific challenges faced by some member states and are expected to call for a speedy adoption of all the files included in the asylum and migration pact.

New EU standard to fight greenwashing in the bond markets
At around 14.15, MEPs will review with Commissioner McGuinness draft legislation for a new voluntary “European Green Bond” label, to fight greenwashing in the bond markets and stimulate the issuing of sustainable investment products. The final vote on the bill will take place on Thursday.
