A long-term solution for Ukraine’s funding needs

After the opening, Parliament will debate with Commissioner Hahn the proposal for a new €50 billion facility to support Ukraine’s recovery, reconstruction and modernisation from 2024 to 2027. MEPs are pushing for a quick deal, since there are currently no funds available to help Ukraine from 2024. The vote on MEPs’ position for negotiations with Council will take place on Tuesday.
