Prime Minister De Croo to present the priorities of the Belgian Presidency
From 9.00 to 10.30, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Croo will outline to plenary the programme of activities of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, running from 1 January to 30 June. A press conference by President Metsola and Prime Minister De Croo will take place at 10.45.

New rules to stop greenwashing and improve product labelling
In the afternoon, after the votes, plenary will review a draft directive –already agreed with the Council- to ban the use of misleading environmental claims and encourage producers to focus on more durable products, in a debate with Commissioner Reynders. The final vote on the legislation will take place on Wednesday, followed by a press conference with the rapporteur.
